Yes as the title hints I've decided to take a break from art for a while, or at least what i normally do, I may put up bits and pieces from time to time but nothing serious, my reasons? simples. I'm not sure what it is but somethings just switched off, I dont really feel like im progressing in what im doing any more and im not really enjoying drawing anymore, I dont know its like one minute i was on a role loving every minute, and the next? nil, zip, nothing.....I honestly dont know whats happened just that my desire to draw has flown away, which kind of sucks cus it's the only thing I show the lsightest bit of talent in? God knows what I'll do now?? XD I feel a change is in order, Im bored with my style, though recently I have been painting (with oil) quite alot, and practicing and when I produce something decent I'll throw it up onto DA.
Maybe I'll switch drawing for painting, who knows?? just that I probs wont be drawing for a while, sorry guys, but honestly, something just dont feel right anymore. Im currently working on a large canvass for a friends birthday which I wont be able to sumit due to size, and a personal piece of the chesire cat from American mcgees Alice (also painted) which i will try to submit when its finished.
One bad thing about painting, it takes one hell of a lot longer and I've never been known for patience XD
maybe rone day, maybe weeks, moths or years from know I'll pick up the pencils again (or until i get bored with painting) if anyone has any commisions/requests they would like me to draw go ahead, i'll draw them for you, i just cant do personal work at the minute >_< stupid artists block, quarter-life crisis XD meh.
anyhows hope everyone is ok and happy and reading the Percy Jackson series like I said XD
doubt I will but sorry if I dissapoint anyone >_< cant be helped, trust me im more angry at myself, I really dont know whats wrong, I want to but I dont want to...if you get my drift???
